If you are arrested in Hillsborough County for DUI and have a prior conviction for DUI within the past 5 years anywhere in the United States, you will be facing enhanced penalties. You will be facing a minimum of 10 days in the Hillsborough County Jail with a maximum of 9 months in the Hillsborough County Jail. Additionally, if you are convicted of a second DUI within 5 years of your first DUI conviction, your driving privilege will be revoked for 5 years. In addition, you will have to successfully complete DUI School Level II and any required counseling. The court may also require you to perform community service hours and attend a Victim Impact Panel sponsored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
